PSG defender Marquinhos has agreed a deal with Barcelona...
Marquinhos has been linked with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain since he joined the club in a record-breaking move in 2013. One of the brightest prospects in football, he became one of the most expensive teens ever.
His positioning, composure and elegance on the ball proved that he was worth the money but the French champions have had to bat away suitors over the last three years, namely Barcelona.
Now it appears as though the Catalan giants might have finally got their man. Goal report that Marquinhos has agreed a deal with Barcelona and that the only issue left is a transfer fee for the Brazilian.
Barcelona are willing to pay him €4.5 million annually in addition to a €3 million signing-on fee.
Left out of the PSG side that drew with Manchester City on Wednesday night, rumours are rife about the defender falling out with staff at the club. Still only 21 years old, they know his potential and reluctant to let him go without a fight. If they must then Barcelona will have to offer around €50 million to tempt them.
